If I am a cranio-sacral therapy graduate from a non IBCST school, can I still become an IBCSTA recognised practitioner?

Graduates from non IAIBCST schools may be able to attend suitable postgraduate courses in order to develop the necessary range of skills to become Integrated Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapists. Specific requirements will depend on their individual previous education.

 

Is liability insurance available through the IBCSTA?

 

Yes, insurance for UK practitioners can be arranged through the IBCSTA insurance scheme. For practitioners in other countries, insurance is generally arranged through independent insurance companies. For information about liability insurance, please contact your school who will be able to recommend appropriate insurance companies in your area.

Are there renewal requirements for IBCSTA?

Membership to the IBCSTA is free for the first year after graduation. Thereafter, there will be an annual membership fee of £80. Members will need to show proof of insurance and appropriate first aid qualification in order to renew their membership.

Are there variations in the curriculum among IAIBCST schools?

All IAIBCST follow the same broad curriculum. Each college or training may adapt this broad curriculum in accordance with its own philosophy and objectives.

 

Does IBCSTA provide ongoing support activities like supervision, continuing education, post-graduate training, and related programs?

​

Postgraduate training and continuing professional development courses are provided by individual colleges (please see our Events page). Supervision is generally arranged by individual practitioners. Postgraduate events hosted by IAIBCST colleges may be posted on the events page of this website.
