We are pleased to announce the re-emergence of the Integrated Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapy Association (IBCSTA) - the modern, forward-looking, progressive association for biodynamic integrated cranio-sacral therapists worldwide.

Background:

The association has its roots almost forty years ago, following the formation of CCST as the first college of cranio-sacral therapy. Approximately thirty years ago, in the interests of unity of the profession, we amalgamated with the other association which existed at that time, joining together on equal terms as the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA). We now feel that it is time to separate from the CSTA, in order to reflect the distinctive, modern, progressive nature of IBCST.

RIBCST:

We are pleased to invite all graduates of CCST and other IBCST colleges to join the IBCSTA, along with any other cranio-sacral therapists with a more progressive perspective.

Members will be Registered Integrated Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapists (RIBCST) and will be eligible to use the letters RIBCST - reflecting the more comprehensive, broad-spectrum nature of your qualification.

Membership benefits will include:

•    Eligibility to use the letters RIBCST (Registered Integrated Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapist) reflecting the high standard and broad scope of your training

•    Inclusion in the IBCSTA directory as a Registered practitioner

•    Access to a discounted Professional Insurance scheme

•    Free access to our dynamic blog, with articles, research, and a variety of contributions

•    Discounted continuing professional development (CPD) workshops and clinical experience to help develop your practice. (e.g. baby and children teaching clinics)

•    Professional networking opportunities

 •   Access to supervision and mentoring opportunities

Resources:

As the IBCSTA re-emerges, we will gradually develop our activities and resources. We are currently developing this website, with a view to providing comprehensive information and resources, including articles, research, professional development opportunities, and reflections and contributions from practitioners, educators, and members of our wider community, creating a space where ideas can be explored, questions welcomed, and knowledge shared. Whether you are newly qualified, or have been in practice for many years, or are simply interested in the development of our profession, we hope that this will become a place for you to return for inspiration, learning, and connection.

We warmly invite you to be part of our expanding community. Together we can continue to build a profession rooted in excellence, compassion, and deep respect for the inherent health within every individual.  We look forward to sharing our journeys together and growing this global community with you.
